Mr. Bikram Vaidya lives in Portland, Oregon, USA. He has been teaching Western and Eastern cuisine for more than 20 years.
As a Lead Chef Instructor at Oregon Culinary Institute, he has inspired a generation of Chefs through his unique food heritage for over 16 years. He has worked at renowned hotels and restaurants such as Farallon, Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
Born in Kathmandu, Nepal, Mr. Vaidya's forefathers practiced Ayurveda which is based on using food, herbs and spices as medicine. He is a "Kitchen Doctor" teaching ancient wisdom and traditional ways of cooking to raise health awareness.
